Bramble Berry Fragrance Review - Beau Brummel

Today I soaped Beau Brummel from Bramble Berry. The scent is described as...

Tobacco and black tea are the dominate notes with hints
of fruit and spice. This fragrance is heady, masculine and
evokes images of the classic well dressed gentleman

I made this the day we were going on a hike, and I guess I was excited for that...I forgot to take pictures as I went, but here it is in the mold.

I used my guest sized mold as this batch was for a custom order.

I love this scent! My nose isn't the best at always picking up all the notes of fragrance oils...but I just know I like what I like. To me at first sniff...this scent is honeylicious!! Then I do pick out the other notes. This fragrance oil is wonderful to soap, no acceleration and no discoloration....two huge plus' in me liking a fragrance oil and wanting to use it again.

Here I have pictured 3 different sizes, regular bar (center), half sized bars (left) and guest sized bars (right).

In our shop you will find it listed as Arizona Moonlight as we used to embed a "moon" into the soap log...maybe someday we will bring that back.

Great Balls of Soap!!

I got a new toy...um... I mean soap mold. :)
A fun sphere mold that Brambleberry just released....

So of course I had to start playing right away. I made a rainbow assortment...Here is a size comparison to one of our bar soaps...

Of course I had to play further and I made an eye ball soap for my grandson...what do you think about eyeball soaps for halloween time??

Happy Lil Accident

This past week we made more moon soaps....it has become quite a popular seller. We use a wonderful scent from Brambleberry for it and have a hard time keeping up stock. It is a 2 day process, we make the moons first, and to try to keep up we made a bigger batch and had some extra leftover....which I hate to waste so I just quickly poured it into a mold to deal with later.

The next day we made the night sky and embedded the moon, we also had some left over...and not knowing how it would work I just poured it on top of the other left over batch and threw the end cuts of moons on top...the end result?? I LOVE IT!

On the left you see our regular Arizona Moonlight soap...on the right was the leftovers all thrown together....I am thinking I will be switching over to this look on future batches...What do you think?
