Cat/Dog Toy

Funny how the cats could care less about the dog toys...but lil pup feels he should have ALL the toys. He wants the ball on the top of the cat toy soooo badly....

Here he is asking me to get it with stomping his feet and giving me a low bark...

Now maybe if I stand up tall....

...and take a quick nip at it... 

No...just makes it spring back and forth....

Now Simon comes over to say "I dont think so" Lil pup looks to me for some help....

Simons says "no way!!!"....

Kitty Escape

We had the weirdest thing happen with our 3 kitties. The 2 boys were afraid of our lil girl, and not being nice. I couldnt figure out how after 6 years together they were now having issues. Then The Hubs got home from work and I told him they were being weird, and he tells me when he got up at 3am to go to work there was scratching at the door....Miss Lily was outside...OUTSIDE?!?! My kitties are indoor kitties, so I couldnt figure out what had happened. But some detective work tracked down how she had gotten out...and she had been out for 6 hours!! I was so thankful she had come home...and then so puzzled why the boys didnt like her. Then I realized the way they were smelling everywhere she went...she must smell different from her night out in the wild.

Here is Simon hiding under the tent on the cat tree...look how huge his eyes were, he was really freaked out and hid all day. Charlie on the other hand was not liking her at all, and was letting her know this. I knew of course he would have to come around sooner or later...after all she cleans his face every single day.

Awww, look here, he must finally be accepting her...well at least a little bit...he is keeping his feet on the ground, but still had to have his daily face cleaning.

I purchased a cat nip filled cat toy from Jennies. My cats are pretty picky about EVERYTHING, but I thought I would take a chance here since the lil pup always seems to get surprises and toys all the time. So I threw it on their bed.....

New Chairs for the Shop!

We were on a hunt this past weekend for a chair or two for the store. A sort of "husband" chair. a place the bored hubbys can sit while their wives shop.

We went to our local antique store and found these beauties sitting outside the front door like they were waiting for us. We walked the entire shop and as we went to leave to think about the chairs for a possible later purchase....we were told those chairs were being marked down to $10....SOLD!!

Looks like the kitties have claimed them...good thing I havent scrubbed them down yet. So no worries...the seat cushions are actually vinyl so they will wash up beautifully for the shop.

Silly Kitties

My cats have what a refer to as a box fetish. I suppose most cats do, but mine like to love on them, nibble on them, and of course sleep in them. We have the cat condo, but they prefer the boxes, so I had made redneck cat condo, which they loved but The Hubs eventually threw away. So now this week we got a couple orders of supplies in and the boxes were stacked to take to the recycle bin...well here is Simon on the condo...

Just where is Charlie....ahhh....IN the box of course.
